Meet our Tutors

Christian Keydel
Chris is one of the associates of Embedded Systems Academy where he supervises embedded software and security development. He studied electrical engineering with a focus on computer science at the Technical University in Karlsruhe and quickly navigated his career towards Embedded Systems hardware and software design afterwards. Christian has been a regular speaker at the International CAN Conferences and other events and frequently participates in various CANopen and CANopen FD standardization groups at CAN in Automation (CiA).
Olaf Pfeiffer
Olaf studied technical computer science at the Cooperative University in Karlsruhe. He is one of the founders of the Embedded Systems Academy. Together with his partners, he wrote the books „Embedded Networking with CAN and CANopen“ and „Implementing Scalable CAN Security with CANcrypt“. He is a regular speaker at the international CAN Conferences and other events. Olaf is chairman of several CAN in Automation special interest groups, including the “HLP Cybersecurity”.
